Week 30 · Health and safety
Body safety
My body belongs to me: I can say 'no' and tell a grown-up I trust.
Why it matters
A child who knows their body belongs to them finds it easier to say 'no' and is quicker to tell an adult when something makes them uncomfortable. Body safety can be talked about just like road rules: calmly, simply and without scaring anyone. The aim is for your child to feel protected and to know they will always be heard.
