Week 21 · Relationships

Friendship and choosing friends

Choose good friends, and be a good friend yourself.

Why it matters

Friends shape our habits, our words and even our dreams, especially in the teenage years. Children need to know what a good friend is like: someone who tells the truth, stands by you on a hard day and doesn't push you towards wrong. Even more important is learning to be a loyal, kind and reliable friend yourself.
