Week 17 · Community and nature
Caring for nature
Nature is our big home, so we look after it just as we look after our own.
Why it matters
Children come to love nature when they get to know it up close: planting a seedling, saving water, putting rubbish where it belongs. These small daily habits show them that what each person does affects the land, the water and the air. Caring for nature means caring for those who will live after us.
