Helping at home
Our home belongs to all of us, so the housework does too.
Why it matters
When everyone in the family, boys and girls alike, helps at home in ways that suit their age, a child feels useful and needed. Chores teach life skills: order, responsibility and teamwork. When the load is shared, adults get less tired and there is more time to be together.
