Week 50 · Character
Good intentions
A good deed done from the heart needs no audience.
Why it matters
Behind every action there is a reason, and children can learn early to ask themselves, 'Why am I doing this?' When kindness comes from care rather than a wish for praise or attention, it carries on even when nobody is watching. Talking about intentions also teaches us to judge others more gently, because not every mistake is meant badly.
