Week 3 · Emotions and self
Patience
Patience is being able to wait calmly and keep going.
Why it matters
Everything worthwhile — from a seed sprouting to learning to read — takes time. A child who learns to wait finds it easier to calm down when things are hard and to finish what they start. In a family, patience lets everyone learn at their own pace and put mistakes right.
