Week 13 · Relationships
Forgiveness
Forgiving lightens the heart, but it doesn't mean letting someone hurt you again.
Why it matters
Everyone makes mistakes, and a family that knows how to forgive becomes a safe place to grow up. A child who learns to let go of a grudge doesn't carry that heavy feeling around for days. At the same time, forgiving doesn't mean staying silent: a child can forgive and still say, 'Please don't do that again.'
